2017-05-20 - Visiting Bath

For those of you travelling to the beautiful city of Bath I thought I would recommend some things to do.

Roman Baths

The Roman Baths are potentially an obvious choice but definitely a must do. You can even taste the water with its healing qualities at the Pump Rooms.

Afternoon Tea

There is an endless choice of places to experience a true afternoon tea, from cute cosy tea rooms like Bea’s Vintage Tea Rooms or something more sophisticated like The Royal Crescent Hotel.

Royal Crescent and Victoria Park

Not too far from our boutique is Victoria Park and The Royal Crescent, both helping to make Bath such a beautiful city and a great example of Georgian architecture.

The Circus

Another classic tourist spot, but you won’t see anything else like it in the UK.

Personal Favourites

For a great view and a glass of wine is the Hare and Hounds. Fantastic on a clear day.

A little further out is a great place for a drink and a snack. The Bathampton Mill has a lovely garden overlooking the canal and a small but pretty waterfall.

Bath skyline is spectacular at sunset with its stunning views and Georgian history.

If you are into rugby why not see the famous Bath rugby team in action.

If you are looking for a special treat try The Gainsborough Spa Village, the only hotel with access to the hot springs.

There is always something going on in Bath, including festivals but my personal favourite is Bath Christmas Market. It may be busy but it truly gets you in the Christmas spirit.
